Mabinogi Game Music

Here is some music from the game. Me and Yue-kun can play the G1 and G5 themes in Mabinogi. I play the flute he plays the Ukelele. Its hard to make and play the songs though. He is currently making the music score for Gairech. Im gonna play the Mandolin next because it makes a really nice sound. Flutes are just too low sounding.

Game Summary:

This new game is called MabiNogi. Its an anime fantasy game where you can virtually do anything you want. You can fight monsters, farm, sit around, do nothing, chat with your friends, explore, mine, and much much more! This game has not been released yet.  Open Beta Testing will be on March 5 astarting at 10 am.The release of the actual game should be sometime in April-June. Be the first to play the game! Im trying to promote this game so that it may become popular in the future just like its other version,Maplestory. MabiNogi has really good graphics and music.  Important News:

The next Beta testing is on March 5 at 10am. Here is some really good news! All the characters made in Open-Beta will be transferred to the actual game so basically you keep your characters. I would recommend starting at age 1-10 because then you can get full gameplay. Rebirth if you want necessarily. And also, I found a pet guide that will probably answer all your questions. This can be found here.

                     Open-Beta promises new hair styles and eye varieties when you create your characters. It also promises some new skills available such as fishing. Plus, Emain Macha and other farther cities from Tir Chonaill should be translated. Also, other areas where people weren't allowed to explore before will be open for access in Open-Beta. And to top it all off, your characters will be transferred to the actual release of the game so that many people can get a head start. More details coming soon.

Setup Details:

After you download the GameClient from the main website, install it. When its done click on "Play Game" when a window pops up after installation. Wait for a bit to load, when the game title screen appears type in your Nexon account information. Log in and a character design screen will appear. After you design your character, a witch named Nao will guide you through the world of Mabinogi.

Character Designing:

The way your character looks all depends on you. You can choose from different hairstyles, clothes, size, eyes, gender etc.

In the second generation you can choose to be a human,elf, or giant. However, in the 1st generation, which is being released in USA, that won't be available. The upside though is that you can make multiple characters.

Game Enhancers:

There are special things called Game Enhancers that will make Mabinogi funner and easier to play. However, those enhancers are not free. You have to buy a Nexon Cash card from Target or Best Buy.

 Rundown of Cash Points:

Once you have a Nexon Cash card go to Nexon.net and click on "Charge Nexon Cash". Charge your account by entering the Pin Number on the back of the card. All the points will go straight to it. You may not see the "charge account" button right now though because the game hasn't been released yet.

Nexon Cash Shops:

Go to a cash shop on http://www.nexon.net/ or in the official game to buy stuff with your points. You can buy Pet cards, Weapons, Clothes, Rebirth Cards, and more.

 Age:

In the Game you can age until you are 25 years old. Every Saturday your character's age goes up. However, when you reach age 25 you will gain less ability points and it becomes harder to level up. To remedy this situation, buy a Rebirth Card from a Nexon Cash shop and use it on your character. Your character's age gets set back to 1 and you keep all the skills and experience you earned before instead of making another character to play with. When your character's age reaches 25, don't worry it won't be the end of your character. You can still play with it and level up but you will gain less experience and skill.

Dying:

If for some reason you die in the game, you don't lose your items. However, you lose a bit of experience and that can be an obstacle when you are trying to level up your character. If you die you get sent back to a starting point, but if you bought a special package from a Nexon Cash shop, you will be able to resurrect from the spot you died or Nao will come and heal you. Also, if a friend is traveling with you, they can heal you by using a Phoenix Feather. Another reason why you don't want to die is the occasional loss of items. You can lose items if you die and the only way to get them back is to go to a "Lost and Found" or the town office. You have to pay half or less of the item's value to get it back.

Instruments:

In this game you can also play an instrument and compose your own songs. In Generation 1, the only available instruments are the lute, flute, ukelele, and the Mandolin. I recommend the Mandolin because it makes a real nice sound compared to the other instruments. The only way to the compose your own songs is by entering Music scores into Mabinogi. To do that, go on the Internet and find the Music Scores of a popular song. Then copy the codes in and you start playing the music. The instruments can be bought in the game so don't worry about spending Nexon Cash on instruments.

Pets:

To have a pet you need to buy a Pet card from a Nexon Cash shop. The following are pets you can own: Horse, wolf, bear, panda, cat, dog, tiger, hawk, sheep, pig, eagle,and pelican. There was also another bird but I forgot what it was called.If you think that having a pelican for a pet is stupid, think again. Pelicans are actually one of the most wanted pets because you can use them to fly around places. Horses are also one of the most wanted because you can ride them to and from places.

Skill Guide:

Skills can be very helpful in Mabinogi, especially when you're looking for a job or fighting monsters. These skills can be obtained by talking to an NPC and clicking on "Skills" when their travel notebook appears. You may also obtain skills by taking classes.

Combat Skills:

• Smash Skill: Obtained by talking to Trefor near Alby Dungeon, north of Tir Chonaill. This skill is used for fighting and deals a huge amount of damage on an opponent.
• Counter Attack Skill: Obtained by talking to....omg i forgot...I think it was the combat teacher in the school of Tir Chonaill or someone else...will get back to you on that information!
• Defence Skill: Obtained by talking to the healer in Tir Chonaill. This skill is used to absorb damage from most attacks. Effective against repetitive attacking opponents.
• Archery Skill: Obtained by buying a bow and arrows for the first time. The skill automatically comes with it.

Magic Skills:

• Lightningbolt Skill: Obtained by taking magic classes at the school in Tir Chonaill. You must pay 4k or 4000g for 3 day classes. This skill is used to contain and stun an opponent, giving you a chance to attack. It also strikes multiple opponents with a single strike, which is very useful when a bunch of enemies are on your tail (Believe me I've been through that experience a lot >.<)
• Icebolt Skill: Obtained in the same manner as the lightningbolt skill. This skill is slightly like the lightingbolt attack but it doesn't stun very well. It however packs more of a punch.
• Firebolt Skill:Obtained just like the other two magic skills are. This is not really much of a bolt but more like a wisp. The wisp slowly travels to your opponent when you conjure it and then it sets your opponent ablaze with fire!

Misc Skills:

• Resting Skill: Obtained by talking to Nora at the front of the Inn. This skill is also known as the sitting skill. When you use it your wounds heal slowly.
• Firemaking Skill: For specific reasons I will not post up this skill.
• Music Playing Skill:Obtained by simply buying an instrument. The skill automatically comes with it. This skill is used to play whatever your heart desires. You can play it when you want to relax or just show off your musicianship to others.
• Composing Skill:For specific reasons I will not post up this skill.
